Back from Hospital.

Hello everyone.  I wanted to let you all know that I am back from hospital.  Unfortunately things did not go very well.  The two procedures I went in for are still beiing needed to be done.  I arrived at hospital on the 15th and in the early hours of the 16th I became very ill.  I suffered a massive heart attack and needed to have an angiogram.  The doctors discovered during this that I had two arteries that had joined together and then tore.  This has never happened before so I made medical history.  Then just after (I think) the angiogram I suffered another smaller heart attack.  The decicision was made to put 3 stents in.  I was under sedation for nearly 24 hours and came round Friday afternoon.  I am over the worst now and have been home a day and a half.  Feeling very week and tired and very emotional.  My Cardiologist said thank god I was in hospital or it may have been a very different story.  I had the best level of care I could have ever asked for, my consultant even came to see me on a Sunday.  I am doing ok apart from as I said tired and week and lots of brusises from when they tried to take blood from me.  My angels certainly came through for me last week.  Though I admit at the time I thought they had abandond me.  I still need to have the pacemaker change that I was originally in for but that wont be for a little while yet, they have no idea how long a full recovery will be from this heart attack.  I am not in a hurry to go back in anyway.  I am looking forward to spending some time relaxing and crafting and getting back to full health. 

Something for a friend

Hi everyone

I have made something for my best friend Emma. I am off to see her in March I cant wait. She is an Audrey Hepburn fan so I made her this mini album/journal. I have never done anything in black and white, now I love working in those colours. Let me know what you think. Also just to let you know I am off into hospital on Wednesday. I am having a little heart operation. They are going to Oblate me again. It will hopefully make me feel less tired and breathless. They are also going to replace my pacemaker as its battery life is almost up. It will be under general anethestic so I wont feel much and hopefully should be home in about a weeks time.

Hi everyone

I have uploaded a youtube video on a lace haul I got from Etsy.  I paid something like $10.00 for a load of lace, it was a bargain, I had to share with you all. 



please comment if you like the video.  I will just say that I absolutely hate my voice when I speak on the camcorder.  I dont know why, its the same on the telephone and mobile but I sound like a ten year old.  I often get callers asking if my mum or dad is there.  I find it amusing sometimes but then as my dad isnt alive anymore I can get upset if I am having a bad day.  Still I hope you enjoy the video.
