Welcome

Welcome to my newest blog. What is a kimberline you ask? Well where I live in Portland, Dorset, it is a nickname given to newcomers to the Island. Yes Portland is an Island seperated from Weymouth by a causeway. Its part of the Jurassic coast and I love living here. I will be posting lots of different things I hope you enjoy visiting here. Hugs Sara

Fairy shoes wall hanging.

I got the idea for this from a magazine. There was an article in there about making fairy shoes.
I knew I had to try making a pair. This is my second attempt. The first arent photograph worthy
They took me two hours to make.
I hope the fairies like them

I am so proud of this wall hanging I made for my mom for mothers day. It is my mum and nan who passed away just over a year ago. It took me two days to create it. They were all items I had around the house I had been keeping for a rainy day. The squares were the only thing I had to buy. I used to chinese chop sticks to make the wall hanging. It has the word Joy in there which is a brad, that you cant quite see on the photo. I hope she will like it

Emmas DIary

This I made for my best friends birthday present. I had a fixed idea on how I wanted it to look and it worked really well. Normally I dont have a fixed idea on something I do, however this time I knew exactly how I wanted it to look.  The bag was just a plain gift bag that I decorated with a gorgeous fairy sticker.

This beaded butterfly and the beaded angels were so fun to make. The butterfly has some gorgeous beads I got from ebay in it. I so enjoyed making these. I hope to make some more soon. The butterfly I have used in a scrapbooking project I will let you see it when I have taken a photo of it.

About Me

I thought I would introduce myself. I am Sara from the UK. I live in Portland, Dorset with my Fiance Rob. We met on the internet and just hit it off straight away. Rob has a Harley Davidson which we go out on whenever we can. We belong to a club and have an active social life with many great friends through it.

I have a few health problems which means I cant work at all. I was born with a hole in my heart. I have a metal valve and a pacemaker. A twisted spine and a cleft palate. It is all down to a syndrome called sphrintzens syndrome, also known as cardio velor facial syndrome. It is cromozone 22 that is effected. I have learned to live with it, though I have had my fair share of hospital visits and operations, I am grateful I am not worse off. I have my bad days but I get though those and the good days seem to carry me through the bad days. Rob is brilliant as well, he spoils me when I am ill. Especially when I get a migraine.

Because I can not work I keep myself occupied with my many hobbies. I make my own cards and jewelry. I also do a bit of writing and I love writing poetry. I read the tarot cards and the angel cards. I am a reflexologist, do indian head massage and am a reiki master. I believe in fairies and angels and am quite psychic.

I have always been a creative person, my mum often says I dont know where you get it from. She isnt creative much. My dad wasnt either. It was just something I developed over the years.

Well I hope I havent bored you too much please feel free to leave comments on my blogs if you wish

some of my handmade jewelry. I have been making jewelry for a few years now. I love to see how each necklace or bracelet turns out. I adore all of the different beads out there. I spend a fortune on it. My last party I made quite a lot of money and yes it all went on more beads. My Fiance is great he endulges me on all my hobbies and doesnt moan when I buy stuff. I only buy what I can afford and he knows that.

my first art doll. Took me a week to create it. I kept it simple for the first one. I love the colours pink and brown so I used that as my guidline. For the wings I stitched the word love and a bow to practice my stitching. I am pleased with the results for my first go. I used fabric scraps from my local fabric store. They had loads of scraps in a bag for £1.00 and the beads I got from ebay.
I cant wait to do another one now. i definitely have the bug
