Welcome

Welcome to my newest blog. What is a kimberline you ask? Well where I live in Portland, Dorset, it is a nickname given to newcomers to the Island. Yes Portland is an Island seperated from Weymouth by a causeway. Its part of the Jurassic coast and I love living here. I will be posting lots of different things I hope you enjoy visiting here. Hugs Sara

Back from Hospital.

Hello everyone.  I wanted to let you all know that I am back from hospital.  Unfortunately things did not go very well.  The two procedures I went in for are still beiing needed to be done.  I arrived at hospital on the 15th and in the early hours of the 16th I became very ill.  I suffered a massive heart attack and needed to have an angiogram.  The doctors discovered during this that I had two arteries that had joined together and then tore.  This has never happened before so I made medical history.  Then just after (I think) the angiogram I suffered another smaller heart attack.  The decicision was made to put 3 stents in.  I was under sedation for nearly 24 hours and came round Friday afternoon.  I am over the worst now and have been home a day and a half.  Feeling very week and tired and very emotional.  My Cardiologist said thank god I was in hospital or it may have been a very different story.  I had the best level of care I could have ever asked for, my consultant even came to see me on a Sunday.  I am doing ok apart from as I said tired and week and lots of brusises from when they tried to take blood from me.  My angels certainly came through for me last week.  Though I admit at the time I thought they had abandond me.  I still need to have the pacemaker change that I was originally in for but that wont be for a little while yet, they have no idea how long a full recovery will be from this heart attack.  I am not in a hurry to go back in anyway.  I am looking forward to spending some time relaxing and crafting and getting back to full health.

Oh my Sara, I think your angels must have been with you for sure. Thank God you were in the hospital. I will say a prayer that your strength returns quickly. You look beautiful in your photo, no one would have guessed that you just had a series of heart attacks.

Please stop by my blog and perhaps you would like to follow me also. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Chris

Oh Sara, I didn't know of your serious challenge! How amazing that you were already in hospital! I am sorry you have had to go through this. I wish for you the best possible recovery and hopefully a quick pacemaker fix that heals beautifully too.
Hugs,
Terri

Hi Sara,
Thanks so much for stopping by and visiting and leaving a comment..of course I wanted to do the same...So I hopped on over...only to find out about your heart attacks. That's one way to make it into the medical history books.
Hope you are feeling stronger each day!
Hugs
