Welcome to my newest blog. What is a kimberline you ask? Well where I live in Portland, Dorset, it is a nickname given to newcomers to the Island. Yes Portland is an Island seperated from Weymouth by a causeway. Its part of the Jurassic coast and I love living here. I will be posting lots of different things I hope you enjoy visiting here. Back to Market

Bridport, a small resort consisting of an old town and a fishing port, famous then as now for being the main producer of ropes on the country. It also hosts an all round year market on Saturdays.  Its a fantastic market for all things vintage and the unique and unusual to garden plants and rocking chairs for sale.  I love it when we get to visit as it is just down the road from West bay (West Bay is a major gateway to the Jurassic Coast, which covers 95 miles of coast from Orcombe Rocks at Exmouth, Devon to Studland Bay in Dorset. Sometimes known as the Dinosaur Coast, tourists throughout the world visit West Dorset for fossil hunting in stunning coastal scenery. The famous sandstone East Cliff at West Bay exposes 180 million years of history.  There is a fab cafe which hosts the best cheesy chips we have ever tasted.  Yummy .  Anyway back to Bridport.  We went there a couple of Saturdays ago and I came home with some great finds.

I cant wait to make something creative with them
