my first mosaic

This is my first attempt at mosaic.  Not too bad.  I have yet to grout it and I want to paint the wooden blocks.  In heinsight I should have painted the blocks first but I was eager to see what it would look like.  I had fun smashing up the plates that I brought cheep from a charity shop.  I used my tool to shape the pieces a bit more.  I cant wait to try the grouting but it will have to wait until after Easter.  I am going to my uncles for the weekend.
