Welcome

Welcome to my newest blog. What is a kimberline you ask? Well where I live in Portland, Dorset, it is a nickname given to newcomers to the Island. Yes Portland is an Island seperated from Weymouth by a causeway. Its part of the Jurassic coast and I love living here. I will be posting lots of different things I hope you enjoy visiting here. Hugs Sara

Practical Magic Blog Party

http://pmblogparty.blogspot.com/
I know that the Practical Magic blog Party is officially tomorrow but I am going to be busy.  We have a Harley bike Rally event at Bournmouth.  We are not staying the weekend but we are going to join the fun of the parade.  There should be lots of bikes provided the weather stays dry.

I love Sandra Bullock and any films involving magic, witches etc.  I used to love the series Charmed when it was on.  I loved this little film and was particualarly taken by the scene of the love spell.  You know the part when  its said "He'll have one blue eye, and one green eye."  Here is a little mixed media piece I did with the scene as inspiration hope you like it.
It took several attempts to get it how I liked it but I think I have got there.  To glue the bottle I used Heavy moulding gel and though it took a while to dry it is stuck solid on there and wont budge.
I am looking forward to reading everyone else's blogs over the weekend.

This is really a lovely creation and the bottle adds the perfect touch in containing the love potion...adore the colour. Must be lovely over there.I flew there a very very long time ago and didn't want to leave ; it was just a magical place full of romance but I had a young Canadian fellow that really loved me a lot and coaxed me to return home alas I returned but left a part of my heart behind. Glad to meet you and hope you had a great day.
