Welcome

Welcome to my newest blog. What is a kimberline you ask? Well where I live in Portland, Dorset, it is a nickname given to newcomers to the Island. Yes Portland is an Island seperated from Weymouth by a causeway. Its part of the Jurassic coast and I love living here. I will be posting lots of different things I hope you enjoy visiting here. Hugs Sara

Tea party under a full moon blog party post

We are here, a tea party on a full moon.  Who would have thought it.  Anna's wonderful idea over at Frosted Petunia's  is actually here.  I couldnt wait to join in on the fun after the success of her Practical magic blog party.

So what to post, well that was the big one.  Being a mixed media artist I went with the crafty ideas.  Collecting supplies for Halloween (samhain)
I couldn't wait to get crafting again
A cup of tea was just inspiration guanteed
a plethora of ideas indeed
more than one cup of tea I guess was in need

I stamped and glittered, cut and coloured
Autuminal colours russet, brown, green, orange and red

Thirsty work this designing game
trying not to get everything looking the same

Pumpkins and gourds are my favourite things
next to broomsticks, and crows and orangy rings

I am so glad you came to my post today
maybe for a while you might even stay

Hope you enjoyed the post as much as I did creating it.  With the help of my wonderful husband of course.  Next Saturday I am going to Glastonbury to the Fairy Ball.  I promise to post about it.  I went a couple of years ago and I am very excited.  Also during the day local to us is a psychic fair that we shall be attending.  Plus for a pressie my Husband is going to give me a tarot reading on Halloween.  How cool is that?

Sounds like you chose your mate well. You may be a kimberline now, but with your talent you will soon be a favored daughter.
Have a great time at the fairy ball!
On my other blog I posted a video from a gathering ("con") you may enjoy.

I am so "un-crafty" when it comes to making things with my hands so I really admire people who make beautiful crafts like you did with your wreath, wonderful! I look forward to hearing about your tarot card reading :) Please stop by our house for a spot of tea.
