Welcome

Welcome to my newest blog. What is a kimberline you ask? Well where I live in Portland, Dorset, it is a nickname given to newcomers to the Island. Yes Portland is an Island seperated from Weymouth by a causeway. Its part of the Jurassic coast and I love living here. I will be posting lots of different things I hope you enjoy visiting here. PINK SATURDAY

Hi all

Thanks to Beverly from How Sweet The Sound for hosting Pink Saturday.  Its a great way to make new friends and visit some great blogs.  I have given my blog an update and a new name.  It used to be Sara's Creations.

It's been a very long time since I posted anything on pink Saturday.  It has been a bit chaotic.  Mum had a stroke and has recovered almost 90% from it.  She is just a bit week on the left side and has left her pereferall (cant spell it right) vision a bit impared.  Her speach and everything else is fine.  We are also in the process of moving house, which is quite stressful as the goal posts of the completion date keeps moving back and forth.  Anyway.  Here are some picktures of some gorgeous pink flowers and one has a picture of mum in it.
Hugs Sara

My father had a couple of really bad strokes - in hospital 5 days with the last one, where he lost his speech and movement down one side of his body. Within 3 weeks, he was virtually back to normal - so think positive!

Love the tulips, and sending happy thoughts your way. Happy Pink Saturday!

Hi Sara! I'm sorry to hear about your Mum's stroke, but I'm so glad she is recovering so well. Your corner of the world sounds wonderful. I would love to visit. I love seaside towns. The flowers are lovely. I can't wait to see them bloom around here again. We've had so much snow, I haven't seen the ground in over a month! Have a wonderful week. Terri

Sara, I see you do love pink tulips just like I do!!!! Thanks for visiting. Sorry to hear about your Mum but, so glad she is doing better. IT IS STRESSFUL TO BUILD A HOUSE! We did that 12 years ago & we are thinking of doing it again. ONE MORE TIME! But, it's great to get to do the things YOU WANT instead of buying what someone else has wanted. Have a great week. I am so glad your mom has recovered so nicely from the stroke...how wonderful. Loved seeing the sweet photos of your mom and the wonderful PINK flowers! Hope you've had a great week! dana
